Alright; as i was saying..
POTTER WINS :D
no dont ask me why.
cant you even tell the obvious reasons?
i shall quote from wise people here,
because they make my point more convincing,
when it already is convincing.

"I hate it when people compare JKR to Stephenie Meyer
and say she's the "next JKR". NEWSFLASH, people.
NO ONE is "the next JKR".
No one can do what JKR did-- not soon, anyways.
Harry Potter was-- and is-- a worldwide phenomenon.
Stephenie Meyer has nowhere NEAR the talent, ingenuity,
or popularity of JKR. Stephenie Meyer has never been, is not,
and will never be the "next JKR".Harry Potter is
by far the superior series. The characters have actual depth,
the message of the series is awesome,
the plot is somewhat unique and well thought out,
there are hundreds of subplots to keep it interesting,
there are very few plot holes,
the story is captivating,
and the writing is much better.
JKR isn't the best author out there,
but she's the best storyteller (IMO).
She did something most authors can't do;
she created an entirely new,
functioning world with minimal plot holes.

Twilight, on the other hand, has no visible plot.
What little plot there is has just been ripped off
of other books and stories-- there is nothing
unique or ingenious about it.
Most of the characters are two dimensional and annoying.
There are tons of plotholes. The writing is AWFUL.
Most of the characters are underdeveloped.
There are no subplots.
And the message of the series is awful.
Harry Potter has universal appeal;
people of all ages enjoy it.
Twilight, on the hand, appeals almost
exclusively to teenage girls
with an adult woman thrown in here and there.
Harry Potter is much better than Twilight.
I don't even understand how someone could compare the two.
Harry Potter will be remembered for a long time;
Twilight, on the other hand,
will be forgotten within twenty years."

See.
Yes, twilight is super good.
but without a fabulous plot it'll be forgotten after
you finish reading it. AWH .
not convinced? heres another response.

"Well, personally I think it is an insult comparing
Harry Potter to Twilight, sorry to you Twilighters
but Harry Potter wins any day!
People like to compare things that are important,
the Twilight series is new, and it has got a good number of fans,
but it can never have a fan-group larger
than the one Harry Potter has.
Twilight is for young females,
while Harry Potter is for a bigger audience, many children,
teenagers and adults enjoy it.
Twilight is not as well known as Harry Potter,
just point out round glassed or a lighting shaped scar,
and see the first thing that comes to mind
to the person you're asking, whether the person is a male,
female, an adult, a teenager or a child,
I am 100% sure that the person will say HARRY POTTER.
I am perfectly sure that people across the globe
know of Harry Potter more than Twilight,
have you considered the number of fans it has,
from Asia to America, and from the North Pole to the South Pole
(even though it's an unpopulated region).
While if you ask someone who lives in
let's say Pakistan if they know about Twilight,
I am sure they will say we know what twilight is,
it's both the time before sunrise called
dawn and the time after sunset called dusk!
Twilight has got a lesser number of sales
compared to Harry Potter. Harry Potter sales are a lot more
than you think Twilighters,
Harry Potter is translated to more than 7 languages,
it has films, video games, toys, clothes, a theme park,
food (Chocolate frogs\Bertie Botts beans and more)... ETC.
The books have sold more than
375 million copies worldwide,
while Twilight only sold
50 million,
you can see the VAST difference between them.
The books are different,
it is very unwise to compare such different genres of books,
as Harry Potter is considered pure fantasy,
while Twilight is romance.
Twilight sorry to say, has no morals compared to Harry Potter,
if you want to know what I mean you can E-mail me if you like
and I'll reply. It's just a matter of the way you look into it,
it's wrong to compare Stephanie Meyers
to J.K Rowling because they have nothing in common,
as J.K created a new different world,
a world you can indulge yourself in where you can immerse
your senses and unleash your imagination.
Stephanie's saga is something common,
I guess there are a lot of references
to human and vampire affection in many books,
since vampires are known to be lustful and seductive.
When people say that Stephanie is the new J.K,
well I take it as wishful thinking as this can never happen,
no matter what!
J.K's characters are considered a lot better than
the Twilight ones, you can ask any reader whether he\she
is a professional or not,
they will say that J.K's characters are a lot more complex,
they are deep, and very very well developed.
Stephanie's characters are weakly based,
they have by any means no dreams,
and the tend to do unreasonable actions that are avoided and
not tolerated by any person who actually owns a brain.
J.K's series shows you how much hard work J.K put into it,
I'm not belittling Stephanie's work,
I'm just pointing out the amount of time J.K spent on hers,
the complexity of her plot development and the new
ideas she placed in her work."

Done.
So to twilighters out there,
the twilight thing might be brilliantly interesting and wonderful,
but Harry Potter and Jo wins like, obscenely obviously.

I shall now return to complete my notes.
